We are trappers because nothing else is as effective. Applying poison bait or gas is a hit-and-miss tactic for which success is hard to measure. When trapping, it's apparent when you've hit or missed your target. 

Even though modern rodent poisons are fairly safe when applied by trained professionals, it's always wiser not to inject the Earth with poisons. Being residents of the Earth ourselves, we don't use the poison tactic. Also, in California, the laws are increasingly restrictive on pesticide use outdoors (especially at parks and schools). This means that the industry will have to turn to trapping more and more. We have been there already for years, and nobody has our experience and track record of effectiveness and safety.

We don't push you into monthly contracts or charge you just because we show up. Estimates are free. We'll even tell you if your problem isn't really worth your money to fight. We charge only for results. If we can't catch the animal, you shouldn't pay, and you won't. If the animal runs away on his own, we won't charge for that either.

There are three outcomes:

1. We catch the animal. Victory! Worth every penny.
2. We can't catch the animal (which we can't remember happening). Not a victory, but we won't take any fee, even if we were on site a dozen times.
3. The animal burrows under the fence and returns to the forest on its own. You don't pay.

Scenarios 2 and 3 don't help our bottom line, but they hold to our principle of only charging for successful work. We can't take your money if we didn't solve the problem.
In all our years in the business, we don't have any unhappy customers. Integrity is the only mode of operation we can live with.

In 20+ years trapping on grounds used by the public, we have never had an incident of humans or non-target animals being affected by our traps. Burrowing-animal work is done underground in a manner that the public doesn't even know anything is taking place. We are sensitive to schedules of site usage and work flexible hours to minimize our impact.

Because we trap rather than apply poisons, we don't have to post your site with warning signs that scare people and prompt phone calls. Our methods also don't involve protective suits or other ominous visuals that can be off-putting to people.
